Our story
Founded in 1961, AVIATEST has grown into one of Europe’s leading structural testing centers for the aerospace industry. With decades of experience, we have supported the development and certification of numerous fixed-wing aircrafts, rotorcrafts, and advanced air mobility platforms.

Over the years, AVIATEST has contributed to major European research programs, including Clean Sky 2, performing full-scale structural and landing gear tests for next-generation rotorcraft and aircraft.

Today, we continue to combine deep technical expertise, advanced testing capabilities, and a strong commitment to innovation — helping our partners bring safer, more efficient, and sustainable aircraft to the skies.
What we do
We support the aerospace industry with:
  • Full-scale structural tests – static, fatigue, dynamic, and drop tests.
  • Test rig design and manufacturing – from requirements to fully commissioned test rigs
  • Lab testing – metals, composites, hybrid materials, environmental tests
AVIATEST has over 50 years of continuous experience in aerospace testing

• Two hangars totalling 4,000 m² with space for full-scale aircrafts and components

• Team of 30+ engineers, technicians, administration and instrumentation specialists

• Accredited laboratories with modern static, fatigue, and dynamic bespoke test rigs
Moments of Testing
From Materials to Full-Scale

Full-scale structures - including wings, fuselages, and complete aircrafts.

Components - such as flaps, landing gears, rotor hubs, actuators, blades and fuselage sections

Material samples - evaluation of strength, stiffness, and fatigue properties

All tests are performed in accordance with Statements of Work, dedicated test plans, or relevant ISO and ASTM standards.

Certification
We prepare and run tests to meet EASA, CAA and FAA requirements
ISO17025 - accredited laboratory specialising in structural testing
ISO17025 - traceable calibration for all sensors and equipment
ISO 9001 - certified quality management system for test rig development

AVAITEST deliver complete, reliable test reports that can be submitted directly to certification authorities
We’ve been testing aircraft structures for decades — experience that continues to shape our expertise today.
